At Ingram Logistics Services, LLC we respect your privacy. This notice describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website www.ingramlogistics.com and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. This notice does not address our collection and use of data in other contexts.

What personal information do we collect? We collect identifiers, internet-activity information, and login credentials (which may be considered sensitive information under certain laws).
What are our purposes for collecting the personal information? We use your information for our legitimate interests in running our business, such as providing an online account at your request, communicating with you, complying with contractual obligations, making our services better, protecting our rights and the rights of others, and as otherwise allowed by law or with your consent.
How long do we keep your information? We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which we collect the information, unless legally required to keep it longer.

Personal Information We Collect and How We Collect It

In the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers such as names, mailing address, email, and phone number.
Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information such as actions taken when you are logged into your account, and details on how you interact with our website.
Sensitive Personal Information in the form of login credentials (username and password).

We collect this information from you and your devices when you visit our website, when you fill out a form, when you sign up for an account, or when you log into your account.

While there is no statutory obligation to provide personal information to us, the identifiers and login credentials we collect are necessary for us to provide an account if you want to sign up for one. If you don’t provide that information, we won’t be able to create an account.

We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or use personal information from users under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided us their personal information, you can (1) ask us to delete that information or (2) exercise any other rights they may have concerning their personal information. Please see below for more details on the different choices and rights you may have concerning their information.

Cookies

A cookie is a small collection of information about you stored by a website on your computer’s hard drive. We use only sessions cookies (otherwise known as strictly necessary cookies), which help a website properly operate and/or provide necessary functions relating to the requested services. These cookies are essential to allow users to navigate a website and use certain features. The session cookies we use are deleted when you close your browser. No permanent cookies remain on your hard drive. If you prefer not to receive cookies, you can set your browser to warn you before you accept a cookie and to refuse a cookie if a website attempts to put one on your hard drive. But, by refusing cookies, you may have trouble using a website that relies on cookies.

Our Purposes for Collecting Personal Information

We collect your personal information for our legitimate purposes, which include:

Administering Accounts. We use personal information so we can provide an account when you sign up for one.
Communicating with You. We use personal information to contact you.
Performing Contracts. We use personal information to perform our contract obligations.
Conducting Research and Development. We use personal information facilitate and optimize our services, such as analyzing trends, conducting market research, and personalizing our website.
Protecting Our Customers and Others. We use personal information to protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, employees, and company. For example, we may use your information in connection with defending ourselves in a lawsuit.

We may also use your information in other ways with your consent or as allowed by law. We do not engage in decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produce legal effects on individuals or similarly significantly effects.

As noted above, we collect sensitive personal information when you create a username and password. Given that we only use that information to provide the online account you request, we do not use sensitive personal information for any reason other those permitted by California Civil Code section 1798.121(a) and the related regulations.

Where We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information to affiliated entities in the Ingram Barge family of companies and to vendors that perform services for us. For example, we rely on vendors to host data and to provide online accounts. The categories of personal information that we disclose to our vendors are: identifiers, internet-activity information, and sensitive personal information (in the form of login credentials). We prohibit our vendors from using, keeping, or disclosing your information for any reason other than providing us the services we request.

In addition to our vendors, we may disclose your personal information to others if you request or authorize it. We may also disclose personal information (1) to comply with the law, court orders or subpoenas; (2) in connection with a government or law enforcement investigation; (3) to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, other people, or the company; or (4) as part of a purchase, transfer, or sale of the company, its services, or its assets.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for the purposes of targeted advertising. We do not have actual knowledge that we sold or shared information on anyone who is younger than 16 years old.

We do not currently respond to do not track signals.

How We Protect Personal Information

We take steps designed to protect your personal information from loss, disclosure, misuse, and destruction. We cannot guarantee, however, that such steps are adequate in all circumstances, and such steps are taken without any express or implied warranty of any kind.

Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

We believe in empowering consumers to exercise control over their information. Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights. But for anyone that has created an account with us, you can review, update, or correct much of the personal information you have provided to us by logging in to your account. Please note that if you request deletion of your personal information, we cannot do so without also deleting your account.

Our international users may have the following rights:

Right to Know– You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
Right to Correct– You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request we complete the information you believe is incomplete.
Right to Delete– You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
Right to Restrict Processing– You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
Right to Object to Processing– You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
Right to Data Portability– You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
Right to Withdraw Consent – If you have provided consent to the processing of your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Doing so, however, will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before you withdrew consent.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our California users have the following rights:

Right to Know. You can ask us to give you information about our collection and use of your personal information. Specifically, you can request we provide you one or more of the following: the categories of personal information we collected about you; the categories of sources from which we collected your personal information; our purposes for collecting your personal information; the categories of third parties to whom we disclose your personal information; and the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
Right to Delete. You can ask us to delete your personal information.
Right to Correct. You can ask us to correct any inaccurate personal information that we have about you.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you want to exercise the above rights, you can email us at privacy@ingrambarge.com or call us at 800-876-2047. You may also have your authorized agent make a request on your behalf. If you have an agent making a request, we require (1) the authorized agent provide us proof that you gave them signed permission to submit the request and (2) you either verify your identify with us or confirm with us that you authorized the agent to make a request for you.

In order to process your request, we will need to verify your identity. We do so by asking you for certain details—such as your name, address, and phone—and comparing your responses to the information we have on file. This way we make sure we only provide your information to you (or someone you authorized).

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83), California residents may request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes; however, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes.

Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to this designated address: privacy@ingrambarge.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

Changes to this Notice

In the future, we may need to update this policy as the law changes or our business continues to evolve. We will always post a current a version of the policy on our website, and you can see the date at the top indicating when we last revised the policy. If we decide to make material changes, we will inform you by posting a notice on our website. When the change is significant, we will not apply the revisions retroactively—unless you tell us that we can.
